Currently, Palmetto Sistas Cuisine is operating at a high level of demand, but the administrative backend is built on manual processes that cannot scale with the brand’s vision.

The primary point of contact for customers is via Instagram and Facebook Direct Messages. While personal, this method is costing the business significant time and revenue. Managing orders through DMs leads to:

  • Lost Revenue: Orders are frequently missed or buried under new messages.

  • Communication Fatigue: Hours are spent answering the same "How do I order?" questions rather than cooking or scaling the business.

  • The "Late Order" Gap: Without a structured cutoff system, customers attempt to order outside of operational windows, leading to friction and missed opportunities.



2. Fragmented Brand Narrative

The founder’s story is a powerful blend of Charleston heritage (Gullah-Geechee roots) and Jamaican soul, yet this "Why" is currently hidden. Without a centralized digital home, new customers see the food but miss the legacy, the 15+ years of hospitality management and the recipes passed down from Kingston to Charleston.



3. Operational Inefficiency

With goals to expand into Private Chef services and Event Pop-ups over the next six months, the current "Gimmie Ya Plate" workflow is not equipped to handle high-ticket contracts or professional beverage service inquiries. To move from a local favorite to a premiere catering brand, the business must transition from reactive (answering DMs) to proactive (automated lead capture).

This vision is rooted in honoring the "Sistas" who commanded the kitchen before us, ensuring that every plate of oxtails, red rice, and rasta pasta isn’t just a meal, but a curated experience of cultural preservation.

As we look toward the next six months, the mission is to scale this legacy through professional expansion and digital excellence. We see Palmetto Sistas Cuisine dominating the private chef and event pop-up space, backed by the credibility of T.I.P.S and ServSafe certifications and a sophisticated digital hub that captures every lead with precision. By aligning our growth with the heartbeat of the community, from the gospel airwaves of WJNI 106.3 to the vibrant fusion of the Charleston and Jamaican flags, we are building a business that is both a neighborhood staple and an elite catering authority. The ultimate goal is to create a seamless professional environment where the administrative "noise" is silenced, allowing the founder to focus on her true passion: nourishing the soul of Charleston through the bold, intentional flavors of the Caribbean.

We combine the high-tech automation of our digital systems with the traditional power of the airwaves to ensure Palmetto Sistas Cuisine is the most recognized catering brand in the city.

  • Kirkman Broadcasting Radio Campaign: We leverage our exclusive radio connections to get your voice into every car and kitchen. This includes the development of your "Heritage Minutes" or promotional spots, giving you instant authority and a massive audience of thousands.

  • Master Social Media Content Strategy: We don’t just post; we perform. I will develop a comprehensive content pillar strategy (Educational, Behind-the-Scenes, and "The Crave" factor) to ensure your Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook are consistently growing and converting followers into customers.
